AMERICAN EYECON BAKED EYESHADOW

These eyeshadows are great! And highly pigmented. I've bought baked eyeshadows in the past but when I came across these..I will say they are amazing!!

With all the types of shadows out there, it's hard to differentiate between Matte, Satin, Shimmer, Pearl, Duochrome and Chromatics without skin swatches when purchasing online. So let me just say that the 'Matte yellow' isn't matte. It's a very, very low sheen satin which can pass for matte.

That being said. HOLY HECATE! That color! *swoon* I didn't expect much when I swatched a little on the back of my hand (skin dark - Lancome 500w) and the yellow leapt right out.

No base, no primer. Not even lotion. Jjust COLOR. The shade is rather powdery though so that is something to be mindful of when applying it but I might have to get a whole set of these!

I've been looking for the perfect yellow eyeshadow for years, and this gem delivers. I can put it on dry for sheer color or damp for rich, saturated color. I used it on top of a primer and it lasted all day--no creasing or flaking. I can't wait to get more fun colors. The only problem now is which ones.

These are great eyeshadows and I’m definitely buying more. I bought it in Malt and its exactly like on photo. Good pigmentation, you can apply with applicator, brush or fingers.
